Sexyy Red is releasing an official deluxe edition of her viral mixtape, Hood Hottest Princess. The breakout rapper announced the updated project just two days before its release date, which is slated as this Friday (Dec. 1).

Hood Hottest Princess (Deluxe) boasts an additional 11 songs to complement the original 11 that made landfall back in June. New guest appearances include Chief Keef, 42 Dugg, G Herbo, Summer Walker, and Sukihana.

Outside of her own music, the “Ghetto Superstar” kept her momentum rolling throughout the fourth quarter of 2023 as she delivered features on Lijay’s “I Love Freaks,” Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants (Remix)” alongside Latto, Moneybagg Yo’s “Big Dawg,” and BlakeIANA’s “Bing Bong” remix. She also shared “No Panties” which is part of the Rap Sh!t season two soundtrack.

Additionally, Sexyy’s popularity soared in October thanks to her memorable feature on Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy,” a standout track on For All The Dogs. The two initially made headlines back in July when they linked up during Drizzy’s It’s All A Blur Tour and teased an upcoming collaboration.

Hood Hottest Princess made landfall on June 9, 2023. It housed all of her viral hits: “SkeeYee,” “Hellcats SRTs,” and “Pound Town 2” featuring Nicki Minaj and Tay Keith. The project also included assists from Juicy J, ATL Jacob, and Sukihana.

In a May interview with Complex, Sexyy Red shared the candid story behind “Pound Town.” “I was in the studio, just on some lazy stuff, and my people was like, ‘Come on, you got more songs to record.’ And I’m like, ‘I ain’t got nothing wrote down, come on now.’ So I went in the booth, and this was my first time ever freestyling. I heard the beat and just started rapping from there. The whole thing was a freestyle,” she revealed.
